BattMobility reaches new milestone with mobility platform MobilityOS.io (and moves to Winter Circus)

After seven years of developing and expanding optimal and electric (partial) mobility in Flanders, BattMobility is ready for a new chapter.
Today, the Ghent-based scale-up announces the launch of their new division: MobilityOS.io.
This innovative company responds to the growing need for hyper-personalization, automation and smart routing of corporate fleets and mobility.

“This is the moment we have always been working toward,” said Chris de Guytenaer, CEO of BattMobility.
“The launch of MobilityOS.io marks an important step in the professionalization and expansion of our services. Our ambition is to help companies in Flanders organize their mobility more sustainably and efficiently.”

BattMobility’s professionalization is evident.
“In recent months, we have recruited five new developers and our customer base continues to grow with prestigious names such as VOKA, Sint Lucas hospital lab, Upgrade Estate, City of Ghent and KU Leuven,” it sounds.

In recognition of its potential and expertise within the mobility domain, MobilityOS.io, BattMobility’s software division, has been selected as one of 15 companies to join the prestigious Winter Circus in Ghent.
The other Winter Circus residents were also announced today.

“Our current location at Brabantdam has become too small for our growing organization, which now has a fleet of 220 cars, with another 60 on order. Through collaborations with several concessions in Ghent and Leuven, we can continue to consolidate this growth.”

MobilityOS: 100% focus on businesses

MobilityOS.io mobility platform for businessesMobilityOS.io helps companies optimize, green their fleets and manage them economically.
The platform is ideal for fleet management, tax optimization, cost tracking and smart trip planning.
“In addition to optimizing their own fleet, MobilityOS also gives staff access to other third-party electric vehicles.”

This summer, MobilityOS.io is launching a pilot project for companies with at least 15 cars in the fleet.
These companies will receive a free analysis of their fleet, travel behavior and optimization opportunities.
Interested companies can register at MobilityOS.io.

Fresh capital supports strong growth

Major investments are also on the agenda in the coming months.
“External investors are showing confidence in our vision and growth. In the fall, BattMobility already raised €300,000 from its own customers, underlining the strong bond and trust between the company and its customers. Now comes the next leap of growth.”

BattMobility itself continues to focus on expansion of electric part mobility, planning new operations in center cities such as Bruges and Kortrijk.
“This strategic expansion and investment strengthens our position as a market leader in electric part mobility and innovative mobility solutions.”
