Become a business partner in the Leuven shared mobility test project!

Leuven is about to take a big step toward sustainable urban mobility, and companies are invited to participate in an innovative test project that will transform the city’s mobility infrastructure and travel behavior.

As part of the ShareDiMobiHub project supported by BattMobility, the city of Leuven has announced plans for a 12-month shared mobility test project.

Shared & Digital Mobility Hubs (ShareDiMobiHub) is an Interreg North-Sea project aimed at increasing the uptake and acceptance of shared mobility hubs.

This project, designed to encourage businesses participate to the transition to greener and more efficient transportation methods, provides a unique opportunity for companies to actively contribute to the development of sustainable mobility solutions.

Professional support to businesses

Companies participating in the project will benefit from a range of support, including expert advice from BattMobility, advanced fleet management software and access to a convenient app that allows employees to use all Batt vehicles.
In addition, the city of Leuven will support businesses by placing charging infrastructure on public property near business parks and facilitating networking and communication capabilities.

Participate in the test project

The test project will focus on promoting shared mobility within companies, with the goal of optimizing mobility within companies (read: less downtime, lower costs) and combating transportation poverty.
By offering electric pool cars and implementing shared mobility hubs, the project will test different approaches to lower barriers for employees and encourage them to use shared mobility solutions.

As a partner in the test project, companies will also have the opportunity to participate in a feedback mechanism which is designed to gather insights on user experiences and perceptions of shared mobility.
This feedback will be used to shape the city’s mobility policy and decide on the long-term integration of shared vehicles into the transportation infrastructure.

The ShareDiMobiHub project, funded by the European Union, aims to grow the supply and use of shared mobility in Leuven and other regions around the North Sea.
By participating in the test project, companies can play an important role in realizing the objectives of this project and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive mobility culture.

Companies interested in participating in the shared mobility test project are invited to contact us for more information on how they can contribute to this groundbreaking initiative.
Together, we can lead the mobility transformation in Leuven and create a sustainable future for generations to come.
